Consolidation

Over the years we have been asked to consolidate Old lath/Plaster Ceiling’s using several different method’s

Often we are called in when some of the Ceiling has de-bonded as a result of water Ingress, load bearing or movement from above or just general wear and tear.

But more often now client’s are seeking our Consolidation service as a preventative measure, before the disaster and mess.

Ceilings

Since being formed in 1988 Irish Fine Art Plasterwork have been involved in many projects involving the creation and restoration of various types of ceilings

These vary from recreating decorative ceilings from drawings or photographs to forming vaulted or pattered ceilings from architects specification.

We also specialize in taking in-situ moulds from existing ceilings to be reproduced to match existing.

Columns and Pillasters

Our columns come in a variety of sizes and designs and we have a range of standard Column and Pillaster mould’s that we can produce in Plaster or G.R.C for use both inside or outside.

These vary from recreating decorative ceilings from drawings or photographs to forming vaulted or pattered ceilings from architects specification.

Glass Reinforced Cement

Anything we can make in Plaster we can also make in G.R.C.

This is a Cement-based material that can be used outside or inside where a hard-wearing product is required.

We can use our standard moulding’s or can match existing or Originate from drawing’s or Photograph’s.

It is lightweight compared to concrete product’s which is a bonus where load bearing is concerned, but it can also be reinforced if it needs to carry any weight.
